Top Melodic House Tracks of July 2024

As July 2024 comes to a close, I’ve curated my top 15 melodic house tracks released this month. After sorting through a plethora of music, a distinct trend emerged: collaboration. Many tracks featured duos, trios, or multiple artist projects, which led to outstanding music. This month’s melodic house offerings reflect the inventive spirit of summer.

Follow the playlist below to revisit these tracks and stay updated with our regular selections of the best melodic house music.

Kora (CA), Mercan Dede, Dexter Crowe – Golconda (Halaken Soundsystem Remix)

Kora (CA) remains a favorite melodic house producer. Almost every track he releases quickly becomes a staple in my collection. His track “Golconda,” created with Mercan Dede and Dexter Crowe, recently received a club-friendly remix from Halaken Sound System. They preserved its textural depth and melodic essence while adding a danceable energy. This track has been on repeat for me since its release at the start of the month.

Bondo, Suite 52 – Nature of Life

My chart highlights both renowned talents and remarkable underground artists. Bondo and Suite 52 fall into the latter category, creating deeply emotional piano-driven melodic house music. Their track showcases a haunting vocal sample and a captivating piano chord progression, combined with organic percussion that adds an earthy feel. Supporting such artists is always a pleasure.

Flowers on Monday – Miharu

Flowers on Monday, based in the Black Forest area of Germany, draw inspiration from their natural surroundings. Their track “Miharu,” released on David Hohme’s Where The Heart Is, features organic sounds and live instrumentation. This standout track is among the best seasonal releases across all genres, not just melodic house.

Flowers on Monday – Miharu (Gorge & Danjo (ITA))

Choosing between the original “Miharu” and its remix by Gorge and Danjo was challenging, so I featured both. The remix, crafted by these industry veterans, stands out with their decades-long experience clearly reflected. Available on the same label, this version adds value to an already amazing track.

Beije – Ecdysis (Discognition Remix)

Discognition is a rising name in the melodic house scene, known for his releases on respected labels. His breakbeat remix of “Ecdysis,” the debut track on our label, injects fresh energy while maintaining the original’s emotional depth and engaging arpeggiators. Welcoming him to our community-focused label is exciting.

Logi B – Sequoia

While exploring music this month, Logi B’s “Sequoia” caught my attention. With only about six hundred monthly Spotify listeners, his talent is surprising. This track stands out, and if released by a prominent label, it would undoubtedly gain widespread recognition. It’s exciting to support and discover such hidden talents.

Max Porcelli – Lotus

Max Porcelli, a veteran producer with over seventy releases, is known for his deep, groovy daytime club tracks. His latest, “Lotus,” continues this trend with its melodic elements and uplifting atmospheres. This track contributes to the momentum we’re building at our community-focused label.

Kimonos, Sounds Of Rituals, Kuuda – Alemagou

Discovered this month, the LA-based duo Kimonos surprised me with their popularity and quality of music. Their track “Alemagou” features alluring vocals and club-focused organic percussion. This collaboration, enhanced by Sounds Of Rituals and Kuuda, highlights the strength of collective effort.

Marcos Calegari – Runes (Brian David Remix)

Marcos Calegari’s deep house style, reworked by Brian David, transforms “Rune” into a groovy club record with a progressive edge. Its dark, late-night vibe and drifting melodies fit well within the melodic house genre, earning it a spot on this month’s list.

Kostakis – The Taking (Birds of Mind Remix)

The remix of Kostakis’ “The Taking” by Birds of Mind features a distinctive lead and haunting 80s-style vocals that make it perfect for summer. Its blend of old-school vibes, organic elements, and rich melodies makes it a standout on my list.

MANTi – My Way

MANTi, an LA-based producer, debuts on Henri’s label with an outstanding EP. Her track “My Way” is a groovier, unconventional take on melodic genres, showcasing her talent and creativity. This EP stands out for its refreshing approach to melodic house music.

Art Of Trance – Mariana (Original Mix)

Art of Trance’s latest track, “Mariana,” continues his legacy of high-quality productions. It’s deep and groovy with a psychedelic twist, making it a club-friendly yet engaging track. Released on July 12, it has been on heavy rotation for me.

GHEIST – Auditorial

Berlin-based trio GHEIST have a distinctive warm, analog sound. Known for their releases on top labels, their latest vocal track maintains their unique sound texture and identity. This vocal track fits perfectly into summer playlists and DJ sets.

Lorenzo Fassi – Lost Odyssey

Lorenzo Fassi is gaining traction across Central Europe. His track “Lost Odyssey” features dreamy pianos and melodic elements, making it suitable for both casual listening and DJ sets. Its energetic rolling bassline and punchy moments make it memorable.

LE YORA, SOMMA, JEWELS, YUMA, CHXRL – LIFETIME

This track surprised me with its emo and punk vocals, combined with a folky, minimal instrumental. The collaboration of five artists resulted in an emotional, moody, guitar-driven club record that’s infectious. The collective effort has created a standout track.

Mooglie, Betical, Emma Hoet – LAST

Mooglie’s track “Last” would fit well on a synthwave chart. Despite its 70s and 80s-inspired sounds, it has a strong melodic core. Emma Hoet’s vocals add depth, and the warm, punchy drums provide space for the softer melodic elements. I’m a new fan of Mooglie and anticipate playing more of his music.
