Top Toby Keith Songs for the Fourth of July: Ranked

While there are many patriotic songs in country music, few artists are as synonymous with red, white, and blue as Toby Keith. He’s one of the most prominent enthusiasts of the United States and its defenders.

Keith was an ardent believer in the American way. He took pride in being a citizen of the United States and wasn’t afraid to call out those who would do the country wrong. This patriotic fervor is evident in his song “Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue.”

The country singer was also a fervent supporter of the men and women in the Armed Services. Starting in 2002, he regularly performed overseas on USO Tours, entertaining troops stationed in Afghanistan, Cuba, Djibouti, Guam, Iraq, Bosnia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Kyrgyzstan, and other locations.

In his lifetime, Keith participated in 18 USO Tours, doing more than 300 shows in 17 different countries for over 250,000 troops. His dedication earned him the Spirit of the USO Award.

Keith passed away on Feb. 5, 2024, after a prolonged battle with stomach cancer. He first revealed his diagnosis in June 2022 and was 62 years old at the time of his passing.

July 4, 2024, marks the first Independence Day without the man who provided the soundtrack to so many gatherings across the nation. To honor the holiday and remember Toby Keith, a list of his best Fourth of July songs has been compiled.
