Fans of the series Tracker have a lot to look forward to as Season 2 is about to begin production. Justin Hartley, who stars as Colter Shaw, and the official show Instagram have already expressed their excitement by posting, “We can’t wait for Season 2 💚.”

Fortunately, fans won’t have to wait much longer. According to Creative BC, the production kicks off on July 16 and continues until April 22, 2025. So, what can viewers expect from the upcoming season? Here are some hints.

The upcoming season is set to delve deeper into the mysteries surrounding Colter Shaw’s father’s death. The first season ended on a cliffhanger that left fans wondering about Colter’s father and his family’s involvement. According to Justin Hartley, Colter’s knack for “reading people” will come into play, and new secrets regarding his sister Dory will emerge.

Justin Hartley remarked that the unresolved questions from Season 1 will lead to even bigger mysteries in the new season, keeping fans hooked with suspense and intrigue.

I think we did a good job of making sure that the answers to those questions then lead to a bigger mystery, something we can unpack in Season 2.

Another exciting development for fans is the return of Sofia Pernas as Billie Matalon. Not only is she coming back, but her character will appear in multiple episodes throughout the season. Hartley teased that Billie Matalon will have some pretty interesting plots to navigate.

She’s definitely coming back. We have some pretty cool stuff for her to do next year.

As for when fans can tune in to the new season, CBS has scheduled Tracker to air on Sunday nights at 8 p.m. Eastern. This showtime is an hour earlier than the previous season, which sometimes caused confusion among viewers. The network seems to be testing this new timeslot for the 2024-2025 season.

So, Tracker fans, are you excited for Season 2?
