Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift Spend Quality Time Pre-NFL Training Camp

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s summer fun appears to be winding down as both dive back into their busy professional lives.

The couple, both 34, have had to juggle demanding schedules that often kept them in different cities. However, a source mentioned that Swift and Kelce seized every possible moment to be together as their relationship approached the one-year mark.

“Travis’ last few concerts were bittersweet,” an insider disclosed after Kelce attended his 14th Taylor Swift concert. “They knew their time together like this was coming to an end and he made sure to spend every minute he could with Taylor,” the source continued.

Just five days ago, Kelce jetted off to Germany to support his famous girlfriend at her Eras Tour stop in Gelsenkirchen. This was mere days before he was due back at Kansas City Chiefs training camp. While in Germany, he managed to squeeze in two show dates on July 17 and 18.

The NFL star was seen casually dressed in a black-and-green checkered polo shirt, white shorts, and a baseball cap. He enjoyed the sold-out concert from a VIP section that offered both a balcony and a closed-off room.

After the concert, Kelce and Swift were seen showing some affection as they walked backstage. The three-time Super Bowl champion had his arm around Swift’s waist, and they waved to concertgoers as they exited. The couple, who went public last September, also held hands while in Veltins-Arena, and Kelce was even spotted with his hand on the ‘Love Story’ singer’s backside at one point.

As Kelce returns to the football field, Swift will continue her Eras Tour abroad. Her schedule includes several dates until August 20, after which she will take a break until November 14.

An earlier source told PEOPLE this month that the billionaire musician plans to attend “as many games as possible” this season, despite her busy schedule.

Additionally, Kelce, who also spent his off-season shooting “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity” and Ryan Murphy’s upcoming series “Grotesquerie,” is switching gears back to football. “His team and the Chiefs remain a top priority,” another insider added.

When Kelce returned to training camp on July 21, he debuted a fresh new look for the upcoming season. The Kansas City Chiefs highlighted Kelce’s new mustache in an Instagram post, captioned, “KILLA STACHE IS BACK 👨🏻.”
