Travis Scott’s Miami Beach Trespassing Charge Dropped

Travis Scott won’t have any worries next time he decides to party in Miami Beach, as his trespassing charge—stemming from a wild arrest back in June—has been officially dropped.

A source close to the prosecutor’s office revealed the charge has been dropped. Travis and his legal team previously argued that there were no clear “no trespassing” signs to indicate he was on restricted property, which proved enough to persuade the prosecutors to drop the case.

Scott’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, told TMZ Hip Hop, “After arguing the motion to dismiss and the state realizing that there was no path to maintaining the charge, they decided to drop the case in its entirety. Although this was not a serious charge and one that should not have been filed, we are pleased with the result.”

According to reports, Travis was arrested after getting into an argument when he returned to a yacht on June 20, which led to another mug shot for the rapper.

After his release, Travis quickly left Miami on a plane.

Earlier this month, prosecutors also dropped a disorderly intoxication charge against him from the same June arrest, according to TMZ.

Now that Travis is clear of all charges, it’s likely he will return to Miami without any legal concerns.
