EXCLUSIVE: Navigation Media Group, the management and production company founded in 2022 by James Engle and Ben C. Silverman, is expanding into talent management. Veteran manager-producers Trevor Duke-Moretz and Louise Keshaviah will spearhead a new talent division. This move is part of the company’s efforts to offer comprehensive representation for actors, writers, directors, and intellectual property.

Duke-Moretz and Keshaviah will collaborate with the literary department to provide a wider range of opportunities for clients. Their work will extend beyond traditional talent management into areas like producing, writing, directing, publishing, podcasting, and digital media, encompassing the full spectrum of today’s media landscape.

Duke-Moretz joins Navigation Media Group after a 13-year stint as an independent talent manager and producer in both film and television. He recently collaborated with Matt Reeves’ 6th & Idaho on the post-apocalyptic sci-fi movie “Mother/Android,” starring Chloë Grace Moretz. Additionally, he worked on the miniseries podcast adaptation “Gaslight” and the Snapchat unscripted series “Coming Out.” Duke-Moretz began his career with Lionsgate’s hit “Kick-Ass,” which led to his role as executive producer for “Kick-Ass 2.” He was also involved in the 2018 Sundance Grand Jury Prize winner “The Miseducation of Cameron Post” and the YA breakout “If I Stay” for MGM and Warner Bros.

Keshaviah started her career as a talent agent at Gersh before transitioning into management in 2021. She is known for her dedication to her clients, strategic approach to talent representation, and ability to identify and nurture promising talent. Over the years, she has represented the leads of series for Netflix, ABC, NBC, Hulu, and Amazon, as well as clients in both studio and independent features.

In a statement, Duke-Moretz expressed his excitement about his new role: “After years of managing and producing independently, coming on board Navigation has been a wonderfully seamless experience. Starting the talent department here has been a thrill, and I look forward to building the business alongside James and Ben.”

Keshaviah added, “Joining Navigation Media Group is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking organization that truly values collaboration and innovation. I am eager to contribute to the growth and success of our clients and the company.”

Engle and Silverman also commented on the new appointments: “Trevor and Louise both exemplify the team-oriented and innovative approach to representation we embrace. Their positive impact will be immediately felt by our clients and throughout Navigation. It’s an honor to welcome them to the team!”

This news follows the announcement in May that Alex Creasia had joined Navigation as a lit manager, after spending over three years at Sugar23.
