True Beauty Actor Hwang In-Yeop Joins Kim Yoo-Jung in K-Drama Dear X

True Beauty actor Hwang In-Yeop is confirmed to make a special appearance in Kim Yoo-Jung’s upcoming K-drama Dear X. The drama, featuring Kim Young-Dae in the lead role, will premiere sometime in 2025. The series will follow the story of an actress who experiences her downfall, and a man who is in love with her and tries to protect her.

Meanwhile, Hwang In-Yeop will play a pivotal role in the story. Lee Eun-Bok, the famous producing director of “Guardian: The Lonely and Great God” and “Sweet Home,” will be directing the TVING drama. Other cast members include Kim Do-Hoon and Lee Yul-Eum.

Dear X K-drama follows the journey of a renowned actress named Baek Ah-Jin (Kim Yoo-Jung). She uses everyone to her benefit to reach the top, wearing a hypothetical mask to hide her true identity. She eventually experiences a significant downfall and struggles in her life. At her lowest, Ah-Jin crosses paths with Yoon Joon-Seo (Kim Young-Dae), who falls in love with her and chooses to protect her despite facing rough consequences.

Hwang In-Yeop will be making an interesting appearance in Kim Yoo-Jung’s K-drama “Dear X.” He will essay the role of idol-turned-actor Heo In-Kang, an extremely popular celebrity who achieves success in every project he’s involved in. However, his deep insecurities and anxieties lead to his sudden burnout. Just when he’s about to give up on life, he meets Ah-Jin and starts to change.

Hwang In-Yeop has previously showcased his skills in dramas like “True Beauty.” He is also set to appear in the upcoming drama “Family By Choice.” Additionally, he previously shared screen space with Kim Yoo-Jung in the popular variety show “Young Actors’ Retreat.”
