Former President Donald Trump has launched a new accusation against Vice President Kamala Harris. He is claiming that Harris used artificial intelligence to fabricate images of a sizable crowd at her rally in Michigan. Furthermore, he alleges that there were “nobody” present to welcome her at the airport upon her arrival for the event.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump stated, “Has anyone noticed that Kamala CHEATED at the airport? There was nobody at the plane, and she ‘A.I.’d’ it, and showed a massive ‘crowd’ of so-called followers, BUT THEY DIDN’T EXIST!” Trump’s comments appeared to reference a particular photograph showing the reflection of the airport environment on Air Force Two, which he claims demonstrates that Harris had “NOBODY waiting for her.”

However, contrary to Trump’s allegations, the crowd present was indeed substantial. Video footage and photographs reveal a large assembly of supporters at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport in Romulus, Michigan.

Crowds were seen gathering closely together, filling the area. A rally video circulated on social media that zoomed in on Harris and her vice presidential candidate, Governor Tim Walz, as they descended from Air Force Two, only to zoom out later to reveal the throngs of supporters inside the crowded airport hangar.

The Harris-Walz campaign commented that the image showcasing the crowd was “an actual photo of a 15,000-person crowd for Harris-Walz in Michigan.” Their rallies have consistently attracted large groups across the country, including a recent event in Glendale, Arizona, which drew over 15,000 attendees as reported by The Guardian.

David Plouffe, Harris’ senior campaign advisor, took to social media to criticize Trump, pointing out, “These are not conspiratorial rantings from the deepest recesses of the internet. The author could have the nuclear codes and be responsible for decisions that will affect us all for decades.”

Governor Walz also took a jab at Trump during a recent rally, saying, “You know, it’s not as if anybody cares about crowd sizes or anything.” This statement is particularly ironic, given Trump’s history of emphasizing crowd sizes at events.

Earlier this week, Trump claimed that his January 6 rally attracted a larger crowd than Martin Luther King Jr.’s historic march in 1963. While Trump’s rallies have indeed drawn crowds, reports from conservative media showed that a recent rally in Bozeman, Montana appeared somewhat sparse, highlighting sections of the venue with numerous empty seats.

Interestingly, Trump has not shied away from utilizing AI for his campaign efforts. During a podcast released in June with influencer Logan Paul, he disclosed that a member of his team had rewritten one of his speeches using AI technology. Trump recalled how the team member had quickly drafted the speech, which he found appealing enough to use.

As of now, representatives from both Trump and Harris have not responded to requests for comment regarding the ongoing exchange. These developments show the growing tensions as both sides prepare for the upcoming political season.
