Trump Flies Across America on Plane Once Owned by Jeffrey Epstein

Donald Trump utilized a private jet over the weekend that was once owned by the late Jeffrey Epstein. The aircraft, a Gulfstream G550, features the tail number N550GP, and was confirmed to have a serial number matching records from both Epstein and Trump’s campaign.

This particular Gulfstream jet is currently owned by a Republican donor who permits chartering. Reports indicated that Trump’s supporters and protesters gathered to greet him upon landing in Aspen and Jackson Hole, where feelings were mixed regarding the jet’s size in comparison to his more well-known Boeing 757, often dubbed “Trump Force One.”

Before his death in 2019, Epstein frequently used the Gulfstream under the tail number N212JE. This aircraft was notably involved in Epstein’s final flight, transporting him from Paris to New Jersey’s Teterboro Airport, where he was arrested by the FBI on sex-trafficking charges.

Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) records show that the serial number of the Gulfstream jet, 5173, confirms its history with Epstein, as noted by aviation data specialist JetSpy. It is standard practice for new owners to change an aircraft’s registration identifier, or “N-number.” For example, JetBlue often ends its tail numbers with ‘JB’, suggesting the airline’s identity within air traffic codes.

Trump is generally open about his private jet ownership. His main aircraft, the Boeing 757, has been a staple at his campaign rallies since he acquired it in 2011. However, the airport infrastructure often limits the use of the 757 due to its larger size, leading the Trump campaign to occasionally charter smaller jets like the Gulfstream.

On Friday, a mechanical issue grounded Trump’s 757, necessitating an unscheduled stop in Billings, Montana. This occurred just prior to a planned rally in Bozeman. The Gulfstream jet took off from Ontario International Airport in Canada that same afternoon, and made a series of stops in Bozeman, Jackson Hole, and various locations in Colorado before concluding its journey back to Ontario on Saturday night.

During his trip, Trump held private fundraisers in both Aspen and Jackson Hole. There is no clarity as to whether Trump or his campaign was aware of the jet’s previous ownership by Epstein, as inquiries made to a campaign spokesperson were not answered.

Before his suicide in jail in 2019 while awaiting trial, Epstein had a social connection with Trump, rooted in their interactions within Manhattan and Palm Beach society. It appears their relationship may have soured over the years.

The Gulfstream G550, referred to as a GV-SP model, is now managed by James L. Previti, the CEO of Frontier Enterprises, a real estate company based in California. Previti is known for his political contributions, having given $2,000 to Trump’s 2020 campaign and donating tens of thousands to Republican entities recently.

According to reports, Epstein’s estate executors sold the Gulfstream jet for $10.6 million to a company named N550GP LLC, despite an initial asking price of $17 million. Corporate documentation for N550GP LLC was completed by an employee from Frontier Communities.

This Gulfstream is part of a fleet operated by Threshold Aviation Group in California, with services including charter availability and in-flight WiFi. However, neither Previti nor Threshold Aviation responded to media inquiries.

Epstein’s aviation history is extensive, having owned at least five private aircraft. His fleet included a Gulfstream II and a Gulfstream IV; he also had a Boeing 727, infamously dubbed the “Lolita Express” in tabloid media. A businessman acquired the 727 in 2020 and plans to dismantle the aircraft for scrap.

Interestingly enough, the Trump Organization is also the owner of a Boeing 727. Historical records reveal that Trump flew on Epstein’s planes at least seven times during the 1990s, with several of these flights shared with his then-wife and children.

The connection between Trump and Epstein has persisted in public conversation, raising continued interest and speculation about past associations.
