Trump Uses Jeffrey Epstein’s Old Jet for Campaign Events Flights

Donald Trump recently embarked on campaign events using a jet that was previously owned by the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Trump’s customary aircraft, a Boeing 757 known as ‘Trump Force One,’ was grounded on Friday due to what the Secret Service described as a “mechanical issue,” necessitating an unscheduled landing in Billings, Montana.

Following a campaign rally in Bozeman, Montana, Trump opted to charter a smaller Gulfstream jet, which once belonged to Epstein, the notorious financier found dead in his New York prison cell in 2019 while awaiting trial for sex trafficking charges. This 16-passenger aircraft was used by Trump to travel from Montana to several private fundraisers in Jackson, Wyoming, and Aspen, Colorado.

Images depicted the Gulfstream G550 jet, now operated by Threshold Aviation Group, landing in Aspen adorned with the Trump 2024 campaign logo and a large American flag. Threshold Aviation Group has not commented on the circumstances surrounding the jet’s use.

Aircraft registration records confirm that the Gulfstream’s serial number aligns with one previously registered under Epstein’s company, Plan D LLC, although it carries a different tail number now. According to a spokesperson for the Federal Aviation Administration, the serial number remains unchanged as it serves as a unique identifier throughout the aircraft’s life.

In response to inquiries, the Trump campaign stated through a spokesperson that they had “no awareness that the charter plane had been owned by Mr. Epstein,” claiming they became aware of this information only through media coverage.

Notably, the Gulfstream was the final jet Epstein traveled on. He was arrested on federal sex trafficking charges when arriving in New Jersey from Paris in 2019. He subsequently died by suicide in a New York prison while awaiting trial, with connections to numerous high-profile individuals throughout his life.

The revelation about Trump chartering Epstein’s former aircraft was first reported by The Air Current, an aviation industry publication, and received attention from supporters of Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris.

Customs records associated with the jet indicate that Epstein predominantly used it for flights between Teterboro Airport in New Jersey, his private island in the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Palm Beach, Florida.

Trump and Epstein maintained a friendship that spanned two decades, dating back to the late 1980s. They occasionally flew together from LaGuardia to Palm Beach, where they were both residents, and were photographed socializing at Mar-a-Lago.

It’s essential to clarify that the aircraft Trump used for his recent campaign activities is not the infamous “Lolita Express,” a Boeing 727 linked to Epstein that was reportedly used to transport young women between New York and his residence in Palm Beach, the site of alleged sexual misconduct. Flight logs released during the Ghislaine Maxwell trial revealed several instances of Trump flying on Epstein’s private jet alongside his then-wife Marla Maples, his children Eric and Tiffany, a beauty queen, and a senior aide to former President Bill Clinton.

The friendship between Trump and Epstein eventually soured over a real estate dispute, and Trump has adamantly denied any awareness of Epstein’s abusive conduct. In a statement from the Oval Office the day after Epstein’s arrest, Trump remarked, “I was not a fan of his, that I can tell you.”

By Sunday, the reported mechanical issues with Trump’s 757 appeared resolved, allowing it to return to Palm Beach, likely with Trump on board. The Trump campaign has yet to respond to further inquiries regarding the use of Epstein’s former aircraft.
