UK Fans Shocked as Favorite Couple Splits Before the Cast Reunion

Steven and Sabrina seemed like a perfect match on “Love Is Blind: UK,” but fans were taken aback when they discovered during the cast reunion that the pair had split.

The couple were a fan favorite and appeared to have a seamless relationship on the spin-off of Netflix’s popular show “Love Is Blind.”

However, when they attended the “Love Is Blind: UK” reunion on Monday, roughly a year after filming for the series ended, tension was palpable as they sat on opposite sides of the room.

Sabrina explained that they split due to Steven’s broken promises concerning spending time between their homes in Belfast and London and supporting her new business. She also mentioned that he failed to integrate her into his life.

“The communication was awful. There was no consistency in Steven’s behavior toward me and the relationship,” Sabrina said.

Steven, on the other hand, attributed the relationship’s failure to financial problems, which hindered his ability to travel frequently to Belfast, where Sabrina resided. He claimed that Sabrina was not honest about the real reasons the relationship deteriorated and described the relationship as having “lost its spark” in the real world.

The breakup came as a shock to many fans.

Following the reunion, fans leaned towards supporting Sabrina over Steven. This support grew after a clip from a cast interview with IGV Presents was shared on X. In the video, Sabrina revealed that Steven brought his ex-girlfriend to their wedding.

“I introduced myself to her,” Sabrina recounted when speaking about meeting the ex.

On Tuesday, Steven told BBC News that he felt “hurt and betrayed” by how he was portrayed during the reunion.

“My emotions are still very fresh and raw, so I’m just trying to navigate those waters at the moment. There’s a lot on social media that is being said that isn’t true, and I’m trying not to react to that,” Steven said. “I know who I am, I know what happened and my friends and family know and that’s all that matters.”

Steven also confirmed that the pair are getting their marriage annulled.
