This week’s noteworthy K-drama releases include Love Next Door, Romance in the House, Cinderella at 2 AM, No Gain No Love, among others. Additionally, the anticipated TVING K-drama Queen Woo will debut this week.

Love Next Door is rapidly gaining a fanbase, with episodes 5 and 6 scheduled to air on Saturday, August 31, and Sunday, September 1, 2024, at 9:20 p.m. KST on tvN. The narrative revolves around Choi Seung-Hyo (Jung Hae-In) and Bae Seok-Ryu (Jung So-Min), two childhood friends who reconnect as adults and revisit old memories as they gradually fall in love. The episodes will also be available for streaming on Netflix.

Romance in the House will release episodes 7 and 8 on Saturday, August 31, and Sunday, September 1, 2024, at 10:30 p.m. KST on JTBC. These episodes will also be accessible on Netflix. The drama tells the story of a married couple, Byun Moo-Jin (Ji Jin-Hee) and Geum Ae-Yeon (Kim Jee-Soo), who part ways after a business failure. The storyline centers on Ha Yun-Seo (Shin Hyun-Been) and her boyfriend, Seo Ju-Won (Moon Sang-Min), who work in the same company. When Seo Ju-Won’s mother offers Yun-Seo money to leave him, she accepts, not believing in fairytales. Ju-Won, a believer in true love, tries to change her mind. The episodes will also be available on Amazon Prime Video. The story follows Son Hae-Young (Shin Min-Ah), a woman who values profit in all her endeavors. The much-awaited K-drama, Queen Woo, will release its first part on Thursday, August 29, 2024, on TVING. Details for international streaming and the episode count are yet to be announced. The drama narrates the journey of Won Hui (Jeon Jong-Seo), Queen of Goguryeo, who seeks to enter into a levirate marriage with her husband’s brother to stay on the throne following her husband’s sudden death. The cast includes Kim Mu-Yeol, Ji Chang-Wook, and others.
