Vera Star to Return for Major Apple TV+ Drama’s Season Two

Apple TV+’s hit crime drama “Criminal Record” is set to return for a second season. The series sees Peter Capaldi, renowned for his role in “Doctor Who,” and Cush Jumbo of “Vera” fame, reprising their roles as Detective Chief Inspector Daniel Hegarty and Detective Sergeant June Lenker, respectively. The dynamic duo, who also serve as executive producers, received widespread acclaim for their compelling performances in the series’ inaugural season, which premiered in January.

Season two promises to captivate audiences once more as the detectives find themselves embroiled in a complex murder investigation.
