Vikings’ George Blagden & ‘The Ark’s’ Christina Wolfe Lead ‘Hello Stranger’

EXCLUSIVE: Writer-director Paul Raschid has cast George Blagden (Vikings), Christina Wolfe (The Ark), and Danny Griffin (FATE: The Winx Saga) in his latest interactive project Hello Stranger.

Hello Stranger follows Cam, a techno-hermit who lives his life entirely from his electronically automated smart home. The synopsis of the film is intriguing: Cam interacts with strangers on the platform Hello Stranger, a randomized video chatting website. Eventually, he encounters a masked stranger with an altered voice. Unsettled by the encounter, Cam leaves the call, only to find the stranger has hacked his smart home and locked him inside. The stranger then commands Cam to win three rounds of games, or it’s ‘game over’. Viewers have to make decisions and play these games to ensure Cam’s survival, with one wrong choice potentially leading to a grisly end.

The project is being produced by Neville Raschid. Aviary Films is handling sales and distribution. It is set to release in 2024. Following closely will be the interactive horror-thriller The Run in 2025, also starring Blagden and Roxanne McKee (Game of Thrones).

The Run was shot in Northern Italy. The story centers on a remote running trail, where a famous fitness influencer’s morning jog turns into a race for survival. She is hunted by seemingly motiveless killers and meets a local farmer named Matteo along the way. The choices made by viewers will determine whether they live or die.
