Vin Diesel Surprises Wedding Guests in Germany

Vin Diesel was an unexpected wedding gift for one ecstatic bride and groom.

The 57-year-old Fast X actor delighted a happy couple in Germany when he accidentally made a cameo during their wedding ceremony. Diesel was in town for preproduction work on the final Fast and Furious film.

The groom, Matthias Hoehn, couldn’t contain his excitement and shared footage of the unexpected encounter on TikTok. “Er kam einfach auf uns zu,” he captioned the video, meaning: “He just came up to us.”

In the charming wedding video, Hoehn shook Diesel’s hand next to his bride in her wedding gown. Diesel, with a warm smile, formed a heart with his hands to express his love for the newlyweds. They then posed for a picture together, almost as if Diesel was part of the wedding party—although his athletic tank top and sports shorts made him stand out.

Commenters couldn’t get enough of the unexpected moment, with many expressing envy. “Mega cool,” one viewer said. Another joked, “New family.”

“OMG Vin Diesel dude, how awesome is that? Congratulations,” added another commentator.

Five days after the wedding encounter, Diesel took to his Instagram on August 2. He shared his gratitude for his fans and his excitement for the preproduction phase of Reddick 4. “Just very, very excited feeling. Feeling very blessed,” he noted while sitting in a green field. “And just very grateful for you all.”

Earlier this year, Diesel offered fans some insight into the final Fast and Furious movie, sharing updates on the process with his social media followers. “Just finished our end of the week Fast meeting with the writers and the whole team,” he wrote in a February post, according to People magazine. “This grand finale is not just an ending; it’s a celebration of the incredible family we’ve built together. Hope to make you proud.”

Fans have eagerly followed Diesel’s updates, showing immense appreciation for the star and the adrenaline-pumping movie franchise.

On his Instagram, Diesel received thousands of comments praising him for his communication and transparency. “We are feeling very blessed,” one fan remarked, “more of our favorite characters that you will continue to portray and be in will soon be in theaters.”

Another fan added, “God bless you and the rest of the Fast and Furious cast,” while a third commented, “Love hearing what you’re up to.”

The Fast and Furious franchise first roared into theaters in 2001, with scenes shot throughout Southern California. Over the past 23 years, the franchise has grown to include 13 productions, including two short films. Now, fans are eagerly awaiting the final chapter of this high-speed saga.
