As one of the more notable actors in the soap opera scene, Vincent Irizarry often bumps into former colleagues from the numerous shows he’s been part of. Irizarry has had a storied career, portraying characters like Lujack and Nick on Guiding Light, Scott on Santa Barbara, David on The Young & The Restless, and Deimos on Days Of Our Lives. Recently, he had a delightful reunion with some All My Children co-stars.

“What a wonderful surprise running into these two beautiful kids the other evening,” Irizarry shared. He snapped a selfie outside Basta Restaurant with his girlfriend, Yvonne Glisson, and two of his talented co-stars from AMC—Justin Bruening and Alexa Havins. “Love them both!” he added, reminiscing about their time on the show.

Irizarry first joined the cast of AMC in 1997, playing Dr. David Hayward until 2006. He returned in 2008 and stayed until the show’s finale in 2011, including its brief online revival in 2013.

Bruening took on the role of Jamie Martin in 2003, playing Tad and Brooke’s son until 2007. He also came back for the show’s final episodes in 2011. Havins portrayed David and Krystal’s daughter, Babe Carey, from 2003 to 2007. Though her character was killed off, Havins made several ghostly appearances in later years, including 2009 and 2011.

In a twist that fans always adore, Bruening and Havins’ on-screen connection blossomed into real-life romance. The two actors got married on June 5, 2005, and now have three children: Lexington, Zane, and Zoe.

Professionally, Bruening recently concluded a four-season run as Cal Maddox on Netflix’s series Sweet Magnolias. Havins has also diversified her acting portfolio, appearing in The Astronauts Wives Club, Barry, and movies like Professor Marston & the Wonder Women and Killer Vacation.
