Vito Schnabel, 37, Marries Russian Model Helena Althof, 21, in Private NY Wedding

Vito Schnabel is officially off the market after tying the knot with Helena Althof. The 37-year-old art dealer quietly exchanged vows with the 21-year-old Russian model last week. The private ceremony was held in Old Westbury, NY. Althof shared the news on Instagram, posting photos of herself in her wedding dress with the caption, “……oops….”

She wore a sleeveless minidress with a floor-length train and jeweled open-toe Christian Louboutin heels. Her bridal look was completed with layers of jewelry, including a tiara, and black cat-eye sunglasses.

The ceremony was held at Schnabel’s Richard Meier-designed mansion and was described as “very small and very private” by Artnet. Despite its exclusive nature, some notable guests attended, including Ivanka Trump, her husband Jared Kushner, and Rolling Stone founder Jann Wenner. However, Vito’s artist father Julian Schnabel and actress sister Stella Schnabel were not present.

Schnabel reportedly met Althof on Australian billionaire James Packer’s yacht when she was 19. Before his relationship with Althof, Schnabel was involved with several high-profile women. He dated Heidi Klum from 2014 to 2017 and was briefly linked to Amber Heard. Other names associated with him include Irina Shayk, Demi Moore, Liv Tyler, and Elle Macpherson.

In addition to his work as an art dealer, Schnabel has dabbled in acting, appearing in his father’s films Before Night Falls (2000) and Miral (2010), as well as in Ryan Murphy’s Feud: Capote vs. The Swans. He also produced the 2019 film Beach Bum, starring Matthew McConaughey and Snoop Dogg, and wrote and produced the upcoming movie The Trainer, featuring Paris Hilton, Julia Fox, and Bella Thorne.

The wedding festivities included luxurious touches such as caviar, platters of sushi, and a red four-tiered cake adorned with edible ribbons. Althof shared photos of these treats on social media, giving a glimpse into the upscale event.
