The Braxton family is heading back to reality TV. Toni, Towanda, Tamar, Trina, and their mother Evelyn will star in The Braxtons, premiering on Friday, August 9, on WEtv.

The series presents a candid look at their lives, including how they are dealing with the loss of their sister, Traci, who died from cancer in 2023.

Promising a “raw and unfiltered” perspective, the show will showcase Toni launching her Las Vegas residency with Cedric the Entertainer. Towanda will be seen juggling her business ventures and motherhood, while also opening up about her alopecia diagnosis and supporting Traci’s son, Kevin.

Trina is managing her businesses while raising two adult sons, and Tamar is expanding her music and media career, finding a way to balance it all, according to a press release from AMC Networks.

The new series will premiere on Friday, August 9, at 9:30 p.m. ET on WEtv, right after Love After Lockup: Life After Lockup. The first episode will air commercial-free.

In addition to airing on WEtv, the show will also be available for streaming on AllBLK.

For those without cable, WEtv is accessible through platforms like DirecTV, Philo, and Sling TV. DirecTV Stream is currently offering a limited-time deal of $49.99 per month for the first three months, with a free trial for five days.

Philo offers a free one-week trial, followed by a subscription fee of $28 per month for over 80 cable channels, including WEtv, Lifetime, OWN, TLC, VH1, and MTV. Although local channels are not included, there’s a vast library of cable shows and movies available.

The return of the Braxton family to reality TV comes after a three-year hiatus since the concluding of their previous show, Braxton Family Values. Fans looking to catch up on past episodes can find them on Sling TV, Hulu, Philo, Prime Video, iTunes, and The Roku Channel.
