Watch Zach Braff Struggle to Name Donald Faison’s Six Kids

Zach Braff and Donald Faison have a history that goes beyond the medical comedy “Scrubs,” where they co-starred for nine seasons. They’re not just colleagues; they’re close friends.

During a recent episode of “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire,” Braff faced a tricky challenge. Host Jimmy Kimmel asked him to name all six of Faison’s children. Braff quickly named Kobe, Dade, Kaya, Wilder, and Rocco. Then, he paused.

“That one’s the most grown, and I don’t know his name,” Braff admitted. “I’m sorry.”

Faison, staying calm and understanding, said, “It’s all right. His name is Sean.”

Faison, who is also known for roles in “Clueless” and “Felicity,” shares his two youngest children, Wilder and Rocco, with CaCee Cobb, whom he married at Braff’s home in December 2012. His late ex-wife Lisa Askey is the mother of Kobe, Dade, and Kaya, while Sean’s mother is his ex-love Audrey Ince.

Their platonic love began even before “Scrubs” premiered in 2001.

“The first time I met him was at the table read for ‘Scrubs,'” Faison told Kelly Clarkson on her talk show in February. “We talked for a little bit, and I was like, ‘Wow, we kind of have the same sense of humor.’ After the first season was over, we both went to New York.”

Both actors were set to appear in shows that summer, so they decided to share an apartment.

“I realized he was my best friend when we were in the living room playing ping pong in our underwear,” Faison recalled. “I was like ‘You’re my best friend! Look at us!'”

Braff and Faison’s appearance on the game show aired Wednesday, Aug. 14 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
