Watch Zach Bryan Sing with the ‘Hawk Tuah’ Girl in Nashville

Zach Bryan’s Quittin’ Time Tour made a memorable stop in Nashville on Saturday night (June 29). The night was filled with unforgettable moments, one of which included a special appearance by Kacey Musgraves. Musgraves joined Bryan onstage to perform her Grammy-winning duet, “I Remember Everything,” much to the delight of the audience.

However, the most surprising guest of the evening wasn’t a country singer at all. During his performance of the song “Revival,” Bryan invited Hailey Welch, a 23-year-old locally known as the “Hawk Tuah” girl, to join him onstage. Welch gained internet fame earlier this summer with her humorous and decidedly NSFW street interview.

The interview, which took place in downtown Nashville, was filmed and subsequently went viral. According to the Tennessean, Welch is a native of the Nashville area. Despite no apparent direct connection between Welch and Bryan, it seems she is a fan of his work, as she enthusiastically sang along to “Revival” while onstage with him.

The craze surrounding “Hawk Tuah” has been relatively short-lived, spanning less than a month. Nevertheless, Welch has made a significant impact on social media. Rolling Stone reports that merchandise sales featuring her catchphrase “spit on that thang” have already generated at least $65,000 in revenue.

Bryan’s Quittin’ Time Tour is set to continue through December, promising more exciting performances. Past shows have featured illustrious guests such as Bruce Springsteen and John Mayer, adding to the tour’s buzz and appeal.
