We’re counting down the days until the Love Is Blind: UK reunion drops on Netflix. Following the drama-packed final episodes which saw the remaining couples prepare to say ‘I do’ at the altar, we are eager to learn what happened next.
Stay tuned as we reveal all known information about the eagerly anticipated reunion episode, from host Emma Willis’ insights to which couples will be making an appearance.
The reunion episode was filmed in August this year, marking one year since the weddings. Expect to see hosts Matt and Emma Willis reunite the cast, discussing the biggest moments from the season and catching up on all that happened post-final episodes.
According to Netflix, “Emma and Matt will reunite the cast for the first time since their ‘I do’ or ‘I don’t’. They’ll reflect on their time in the experiment, dissect this season’s twists and turns, and be joined by special guests from the pod squad to answer all our burning questions. The countdown to this unmissable event has begun!”
Before filming, Emma said the reunion wouldn’t be as explosive as the American version. “I don’t think it’s about being explosive, I think it’s about getting answers. Hosting a show like that requires you to really straddle the line of decency,” she told RadioTimes.com.
“Nobody wants to overstep the mark or make anyone agitated. You want to embody the viewer’s perspective. What we’ve seen on the show, we just want answers to. Those are my favourite kind of shows,” Emma added.
Anticipation is high that all six couples who made it out of the pods will feature in the reunion. This includes Maria and Tom, Demi and Ollie, Sabrina and Steve, Jasmine and Bobby, Nicole and Beniah, and Cat and Freddie.
Additionally, it’s possible that other series contestants might also appear, such as Sam who was initially engaged to Nicole before she chose to be with Beniah.
Fans can tune into the reunion episode on Monday 26 August at 9 p.m. BST on Netflix.
