When Will the Survivor 47 Cast Be Announced?

Survivor 47 is nearly here! In just 19 days, the show will premiere its brand new season with 18 never-before-seen players, each eager to outwit, outplay, and outlast their competitors to become the sole Survivor.

In recent years, it’s been customary for the show to reveal the cast three weeks before the premiere date. For instance, the Survivor 45 cast was officially announced on September 6 last year, 21 days ahead of the September 27 premiere. Similarly, the Survivor 43 cast was publicly shared on August 31, 2022, also 21 days before the September 21 start.

This past Wednesday marked three weeks before the season’s premiere, yet there has been no official cast reveal. So, when will Survivor drop its cast?

Martin Holmes from Inside Survivor has a rumored list of the show’s cast since a preview aired shortly after the finale of Survivor 46. However, CBS has not officially announced the cast lineup.

The trailer at the end of Survivor 46 featured “Pod Save America” host Jon Lovett, and his participation was confirmed on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” back in June.

If I had to make an educated guess, the cast will be officially announced this Wednesday. This timing is post-Labor Day and provides a two-week window ahead of the September 18 premiere at 8/7c on CBS.
