You no longer need to imagine how to stream the family-friendly hit movie IF. This delightful film, about a girl named Bea who embarks on a magical journey to reconnect imaginary friends, called “IFs,” with their kids, is now available to watch online. John Krasinski, renowned for the Quiet Place films, wrote and directed IF, envisioning it as a “live-action Pixar movie.” The movie features an all-star cast led by Ryan Reynolds and Steve Carell.

As of July 9th, IF is available to stream exclusively on Paramount+ with SHOWTIME. To watch, you’ll need a subscription, which is available with the Paramount+ Essential plan at $5.99 per month or the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME plan at $11.99 per month. Additionally, new subscribers can watch the movie for free by signing up for a Paramount+ free trial, which grants access to over 40,000 episodes and movies, along with live CBS programming.

Paramount Pictures describes IF as “a heartwarming and hilarious tale about a girl who discovers that she can see everyone’s imaginary friends, known as IFs. She embarks on a magical journey to reconnect forgotten IFs with their kids before they disappear. An adventure you’ll need to believe to see, IF is perfect for the whole family.”

IF boasts a stellar cast. Among the human characters, there’s Cailey Fleming from The Walking Dead as Bea, Ryan Reynolds as Bea’s friend Cal, John Krasinski as Bea’s Dad, Alan Kim from Minari as Benjamin, Bobby Moynihan from Saturday Night Live as Jeremy, and Fiona Shaw from the Harry Potter movies as Grandmother.

The movie also features some big names voicing the IFs. Steve Carell voices the purple-furred Blue, Phoebe Waller-Bridge from Fleabag voices the rubber hose-animated butterfly Blossom, and the late Oscar-winner Louis Gossett Jr. voices Lewis, a wise old teddy bear.

The cavalcade of celebrity cameo-voiced IFs is impressive. Emily Blunt is Unicorn, George Clooney voices Spaceman, Bradley Cooper is Ice, Awkwafina voices Bubble, Matt Damon is Flower, Bill Hader is Banana, Keegan-Michael Key voices Slime, Jon Stewart is Robot, Maya Rudolph voices plush alligator Ally, and Richard Jenkins is Art Teacher. Adding even more star power, Blake Lively is the octopus costume-clad Octocat, Sam Rockwell is dog superhero Guardian Dog, Sebastian Maniscalco voices the mini Magician Mouse, Matthew Rhys is the crowned Ghost, Amy Schumer is Gummy Bear, and Brad Pitt is the invisible IF Keith.

IF has been rated PG for “thematic elements and mild language,” referring to the use of “hell” and “damn.” Parents looking for more information can find guides to help determine if the movie is appropriate for younger children.
