Who Went Home and Who Made the Semifinals on ‘America’s Got Talent’ Tonight?

Night three of America’s Got Talent Season 19 featured performances from 10 artists, each vying for a spot in the semifinals. Out of these, three will advance, while seven will end their AGT journey.

Notably, Dee Dee Simon, who won Heidi Klum’s Live Golden Buzzer last night, secured a spot directly in the finals scheduled for September 24, bypassing the semifinal round. Joining her in the finals are Howie Mandel’s Live Golden Buzzer act, Airfootworks, and Sofia Vergara’s pick, Hakuna Matata Acrobatics.

For those who went home tonight, the list includes:

Jelly Boy the Clown
Journeyy
Kelsey Jane
Learnmore Jonasi
Maya Neelakantan
Menudo
Reid Wilson
Sabrina
Sam Huang
The Reklaws

During the live results night, Terry Crews began by recapping Tuesday night’s performances. After a chat with Dee Dee, Terry started announcing the results. First up, aerialist Kelsey Jane faced off against the sibling singing act, The Reklaws. Kelsey was the one to move forward to the Top 5.

The next reveal pitted musician Maya Neelakantan against the singing group Menudo. Maya’s performance was boosted by a nod from Metallica, who shared her rendition of their song from Tuesday night, helping her secure the second spot in the Top 5.

The third pairing featured the Japanese dance troupe Sabrina and 9-year-old singer Journeyy. Journeyy advanced to the Top 5.

Terry then called up Jelly Boy the Clown and comedian Learnmore Jonasi, who is Terry’s Golden Buzzer pick. The fourth spot in the Top 5 went to Learnmore.

The final two acts vying for the last spot were magician Sam Huang and singer Reid Wilson, Howie’s Golden Buzzer choice. Reid ultimately took that last slot.

Amid the tense results, the audience was treated to a performance by two-time GRAMMY Award winner Lauren Daigle and AGT: Fantasy League finalist Loren Allred. They delivered a live rendition of “Thank God I Do.”

After the musical interlude, Terry brought the Top 5 acts—Journeyy, Kelsey Jane, Learnmore, Maya Neelakantan, and Reid Wilson—back to the stage. The first act confirmed for the semifinals was Reid Wilson.

Howie Mandel told Reid, “When I pressed the Golden Buzzer, I felt it. We’re witnessing the start of a new career.”

Kelsey Jane was announced as the next semifinalist.

Learnmore Jonasi secured the final spot in the semifinals. Howie remarked, “I’ve been here for 15 years, waiting for a comedian to win it all. You have what it takes. You are amazing.”

These semifinalists will join previously announced acts Alex Sampson, Ashes & Arrows, Richard Goodall, Roni Sagi & Rhythm, Sky Elements, and Young-Min in the next round.

America’s Got Talent airs Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
