Who Went Home Tonight on Jenn’s Bachelorette ‘Men Tell All’ Special?

After a dramatic cliffhanger ending in Monday night’s fantasy suites episode of The Bachelorette, fans eagerly awaited the resolution to what happened after Devin knocked on Jenn Tran’s door.

Devin had an emotional breakdown and confided in host Jesse Palmer that he felt he was “withering away” due to uncertainty about Jenn’s feelings for him.

In Tuesday night’s Men Tell All special, viewers finally got the answers they craved. Jenn eliminated one of her final three suitors during the Hawaii rose ceremony.

First, cameras returned to Hawaii, capturing a heartfelt conversation between Jenn and Devin in her hotel room. “I’m just in a weird head space… I’m doubting where your head’s at,” Devin confessed to Jenn. “I love you. I’ve gone through a lot to be here.”

Jenn, visibly tearful, replied, “I’m not as good with my words as you are.” She expressed to the camera that she wanted Devin to feel chosen but struggled with understanding how to maintain a healthy relationship. Eventually, Jenn admitted, “Devin, I do love you, you freaking idiot!” Devin responded, “I love you, Jenn!” This touching exchange delighted the Men Tell All audience.

Before the rose ceremony, Jonathon regretted not declaring his love for Jenn earlier and feared it might be too late. His worries turned out to be justified as Jenn presented roses to Devin and Marcus, leading to Jonathon’s elimination. Jonathon told Jenn, “Being a slow burn was my fault… I took too long to realize how incredible you are… you were perfect for me and I wasn’t perfect for you.”

Jenn thanked Jonathon for everything and hugged him as he left in the van. Jonathon, emotional, admitted, “I’m mad at myself… I feel like the biggest idiot in the world.”

In the Men Tell All episode, Sam M. confronted his feelings. Jenn had eliminated Sam M. earlier in the season because he couldn’t articulate what it was that he loved about her. Sam M. admitted it was difficult watching the show back and realizing his shortcomings. Despite claiming he was “100 percent” in love with Jenn, he acknowledged he had “fallen extremely short.”

Sam M. defended himself, stating, “Everybody has a different way of loving,” as criticism from the other men loomed. He also clarified that his comments about expecting different Bachelorettes were not intended as an insult.

During the discussion, Jonathon expressed to Jesse Palmer that he felt he had “missed out on something incredible” with Jenn, noting that there was “never a dull moment” between them. Jesse hinted at a potential future for Jonathon on Bachelor in Paradise, which excited the audience. Jonathon accepted the invitation eagerly, looking forward to joining the beachside spinoff for its 10th season. Hakeem, another contestant, also agreed to join Bachelor in Paradise after his own encounter with a challenging moment involving a large spider.

The episode also featured a sneak peek into the next season of The Bachelor with Grant, who had been eliminated in episode six of Jenn’s season. Grant returned to the Men Tell All episode and discussed his desires for his future wife. He revealed his preparation for wooing the ladies, humorously mentioning he would be doing “100 push-ups a day.” Grant conveyed that he’s looking for “a kind soul” who treats others well. Jenn endorsed Grant, asserting, “No one deserves it more than you.”

In the Men Tell All special, Jenn appeared stunning in a low-cut green gown as she revisited moments with her past suitors. She expressed nostalgia seeing them again, with particular compliments for Jonathon and Sam N. However, she saved her harshest criticism for Sam M., accusing him of disrespecting everyone and blaming the producers for his portrayal on the show. Jenn urged Sam M. to improve, remarking, “I want you to be better than this,” and expressed pity for his future partner if he didn’t change.

As the episode concluded, a preview of next week’s emotional finale was shown, with a reminder from Jesse that it will air on Tuesday, Sept. 3, following Labor Day.
