Who’s Performing at the 2024 MTV VMAs?

The 2024 MTV Video Music Awards lineup is shaping up with an impressive roster of performers.

Initially, Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, Camila Cabello, GloRilla, and Rauw Alejandro were announced as performers for this year’s VMAs. They are now joined by Lisa, Halsey, Benson Boone, and Lenny Kravitz.

Among these new additions, Benson Boone will make his VMAs debut. Lisa of “The White Lotus” fame attended the ceremony last year with Blackpink, while Halsey performed with The Chainsmokers in 2016, singing “Closer.” Lenny Kravitz last graced the VMAs stage in 1998, when he performed “Ray Of Light” with Madonna.

As for the nominations, Taylor Swift, who is not expected to perform due to her The Eras Tour break, leads with an impressive 10 nominations. She is followed closely by Post Malone, who has nine. Other notable mentions include Sabrina Carpenter, Eminem, and Ariana Grande, each bagging six nominations. SZA and Megan Thee Stallion are also strong contenders with five nominations each.

In addition to these performances, Katy Perry will be honored with the prestigious Video Vanguard Award and will deliver a career-spanning medley at the event.
