Will Beyoncé & Taylor Swift Compete for 2025 Album of the Year at Grammys?
Taylor Swift and Beyoncé have faced off in the album of the year category at the Grammys just once. This was during the 2010 ceremony when Swift’s Fearless triumphed over Beyoncé’s I Am… Sasha Fierce . In February 2025, the two could meet again if Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department and Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter receive album of the year nominations.
What are their chances? On the latest Billboard Pop Shop Podcast, Katie and Keith discuss the newly released 2025 Grammy predictions by Billboard awards editor Paul Grein. Taylor and Beyoncé aren’t the only contenders. Grein also suggests that Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, Chappell Roan, Chris Stapleton, Tyla, and Sabrina Carpenter (with an album yet to be released) could join them among the eight nominees.
