61-year-old Joan first appeared on Gerry Turner’s season of The Golden Bachelor and charmed audiences when she left the show to support her postpartum daughter. This time, we’ll see her embark on her own love journey, which reportedly ends with a surprising turn of events.

Guy Gansert is reportedly the winner of Joan’s The Golden Bachelorette season. In an August 27 Instagram post, Reality Steve wrote, “Joan is with Guy Gansert. I do not know if they got engaged or not.”

According to his official ABC bio, Guy is a 66-year-old emergency room doctor from Reno, Nevada.

“Guy is charismatic, confident, and romantic, seeking a woman who is intelligent and funny,” his bio reads. “He loves spending time with his four kids and grandchild and wants to prove that older men still have a zest for life.”

Guy’s journey to winning The Golden Bachelorette was reportedly tumultuous. Reality Steve indicated that Guy reached the hometown dates stage, competing with Pascal Igbui, Chock Chapple, and Jordan Heller. Joan eliminated Jordan after hometown dates and later dismissed Chock after the overnight date. The twist came when Pascal voluntarily left the show because he realized he wasn’t in love with Joan.
