Woman Shocked to Discover 80,000 Bees Living in Apartment Walls

A tenant has taken TikTok by storm after finding out that her apartment had 80,000 bees living in its walls, which needed to be relocated.

In a viral clip that garnered 1.3 million views, Apollo Starr (@apollostarr22) shared how her landlord had asked if “the bee people can come into the apartment [to] do a heat scan to see if there’s any nest in the walls.”

While Apollo was on a trip in Ireland, she was shocked to hear from her partner that a hole had been smashed into their wall, releasing around 80,000 bees into their second bedroom.

The couple had to move their belongings and their cat out of the apartment, since they were left with “a room full of dead bees.”

“Some of them are still alive and some of them are trying to get out, and you have to just have a room full of bees and your landlord hasn’t followed up or responded to any of your messages or calls about the said ‘Bee room,'” Apollo explained.

The TikToker shared a disturbing photo showing swarms of bees clustered around the window.

“That’s where you put guests when they’ve been naughty,” one viewer joked, while another said, “Man cave is out, bee room is IN.”

Another viewer commented, “I love stories that are so insane that it’s basically impossible to lie about, and yet there’s STILL evidence provided.”

Viewers demanded updates on the bizarre situation…

In a follow-up clip, Apollo explained, “To my knowledge, the person that came into our apartment was an actual beekeeper. Like, we have his card.”

“My landlord replied to us after us having to reach out to her and told us she would only be taking a couple of hundred dollars off for rent and um gave us a lot of, […] I guess I should say, attitude on the timeline,” she added.

She went on to say that she doesn’t have the resources to hire a lawyer and is not seeking financial gain. Her main concern is that the issue gets resolved by the end of the week.
