Wyatt Russell Surrounded by Family on Special Day with Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell

Wyatt Russell celebrated his 38th birthday on July 10, marking his first as a father-of-two. He and his wife, Meredith Hagner, welcomed their second son, Boone, on February 13, 2024. The couple shared the joyful news on social media, noting that Boone was born a week early but arrived healthy, leaving their hearts overflowing with happiness.

Wyatt is the only son of famous Hollywood duo Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn. He celebrated his birthday privately with his growing family. Kurt and Goldie have three other children from previous relationships: Oliver and Kate Hudson, whom Goldie shares with ex-husband Bill Hudson, and Boston Russell, whom Kurt shares with ex-wife Season Hubley.

The acting legends are grandparents to eight children, including Boone and Wyatt’s older son Buddy. Kate’s children are Ryder, Bingham, and Rani, while Oliver’s kids are Bodhi, Wilder, and Rio.

Wyatt maintains a close relationship with his parents. He recently co-starred with his father in the hit Apple TV+ series “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters,” which has been renewed for a second season. In the series, based on the original Godzilla franchise, Kurt and Wyatt portray Army officer Lee Shaw at different stages of his life. While they don’t share scenes, they both bring the same character to life.

Celebrating his birthday with his family, especially his supportive wife Meredith, is undoubtedly special for Wyatt. Meredith has been an ardent supporter of her husband’s ventures, even praising his recent launch of a hard seltzer brand. She humorously shared her initial skepticism on social media, revealing that she hadn’t expected the drink to be good, but was pleasantly surprised by its quality.

“Full disclosure, I was not expecting @drinklakehour to be good,” Meredith shared honestly. “My husband has been working painfully hard on developing this drink and I was bracing myself for it to be ‘meh’ simply because I think most hard seltzers are ‘meh’.”

She humorously recalled other endeavors Wyatt had taken on, noting how some went better than others. “A few years ago he tried to learn violin and I would have sawed my own arm off from the other room to escape it,” she joked, recounting another business idea involving a deodorant with an attached wipe, which also didn’t take off.

However, she’s been very proud of his work on the latest project. “I am unbelievably proud of how tirelessly he’s worked,” she concluded. “I have a beverage coming out of my tits at 2 hour intervals; it’s called #breastmilk. I will argue it’s harder to make and more complex in its flavor profile, but I’ve learned in marriage it’s not a competition (I just always win).”

Wyatt grew up as the youngest of the Hawn/Russell children, doted on by his older siblings. Initially passionate about ice hockey, he played in college for the University of Alabama in Huntsville and pursued a professional career until an injury in 2010 shifted his path away from sports.

Ultimately, he followed his family into the world of acting. He revealed that he and Kurt had received earlier offers to appear together on screen but hadn’t found anything compelling until “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters.”
