YG Drops ‘Just Re’d Up 3’ Album Featuring Saweetie, Ty Dolla $ign & More

YG is making a triumphant return with his highly anticipated album Just Re’d Up 3, releasing on Friday, August 16, just before the summer ends.

This marks the Compton rapper’s first solo project since his 2022 album I Got Issues. Just Re’d Up 3 consists of a double-disc set featuring 19 tracks. The album includes collaborations with a few of YG’s friends in the industry such as Ty Dolla $ign, Saweetie, Lil Yachty, Mozzy, Larry June, Babyface Ray, and his frequent collaborator Mustard.

The original Just Re’d Up made waves back in 2011, followed by a successful sequel two years later. Now, more than a decade since the second installment, YG is revisiting the series with Just Re’d Up 3.

YG’s summer has been packed with activities, starting with his appearance alongside Kendrick Lamar and other West Coast artists at the “Not Like Us” Juneteenth Pop Out concert held at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles this past June.

He then embarked on the Just Re’d Up Tour, which is wrapping up this weekend with a final show scheduled for Saturday, August 17, in Hawaii. YG won’t be slowing down anytime soon as he is set to hit the road again in November, with performances lined up in cities like Boston, New York City, Houston, Denver, and more.

This tour is YG’s first headlining tour since 2019’s Stay Dangerous Tour, which supported his 2018 album of the same name. His most recent solo album, I Got Issues, climbed to No. 18 on the Billboard 200 chart. In addition to his solo ventures, YG teamed up with Tyga for a collaborative project in 2023 titled Hit Me When U Leave the Klub: The Playlist.
