Zac Brown Lists $3.25M Georgia Lake House for Sale Amid Kelly Yazdi Divorce

Zac Brown is currently in a lengthy legal battle to divorce his estranged wife, Kelly Yazdi, whom he asked to divorce only nine days after their wedding over Zoom. Although the two announced their divorce in late 2023, this year, there has been a lot of news surrounding the two after Yazdi made a series of Instagram posts claiming she was mentally abusive and airing out her side of how the events of the divorce unfolded.

However, it appears that because of this legal battle, Brown is starting to give up some of his finer luxuries, including his stunning Georgia lake house. The 9,448-square-foot house in Cumming, Georgia, is sat right on a cove at Lake Lanier and is listed at $3.25 million. The home is about 40 miles outside of Atlanta, making it a perfect location for those who don’t wish to give up access to a major city entirely but want to slow down a little.

Brown did not own this house with Yazdi, which means it is not up for grabs in the divorce, but he is sad to let the home go due to the memories he has of raising his children there. “It has been an incredible home for me and my family… It served me and my family well, so I know the next one will really enjoy it.”

The seven-bedroom, five-bathroom house sits on a plot of land just shy of an acre and features an open floorplan with light and bright walls and cabinetry offset by rich wood floors. Before heading down to the dock, you can stop by the detached boat house, which includes two bays for climate-controlled boat storage and additional living space above. As Brown stated, the home appears to be an ideal family home, and although he is “sad to let it go,” I am sure the next owner will fill it with happy memories and will be sure to blast “Chicken Fried” a few times.
