Zach Wilson Engaged to Girlfriend Nicolette Dellanno in Italy

Zach Wilson has sealed the deal.

The former Jets quarterback, now part of the Broncos, announced his engagement to girlfriend Nicolette Dellanno on Sunday via Instagram.

The proposal took place during the couple’s vacation in Italy, with Dellanno tagging the Amalfi Coast in her post.

“To the love of my life, I never truly understood what love was until I met you. You’re not just my partner, but my best friend and my everything,” Wilson, 24, wrote. “I can’t wait to make a lifetime of memories with you, Nic❤️I love you.”

Dellanno showed off a stunning diamond ring in the photos they shared.

“Zach, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me,” Dellanno expressed in her post. “Everyday I admire your strength and I’m so incredibly proud of you. I’m so in love with you and can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together🤍i love you.”

Wilson, who is sporting longer hair these days, and Dellanno were first linked two years ago when they attended a Yankees game together. This came after Wilson and his ex-girlfriend Abbey Gile deleted each other from their Instagram pages.

The couple recently spent Memorial Day weekend vacationing in Wilson’s native Utah.

The engagement adds to an eventful offseason for Wilson, who was the No. 2 overall pick by the Jets in the 2021 NFL Draft. He was traded to Denver in April along with a seventh-round pick in exchange for a sixth-rounder.

Wilson’s tenure with the Jets was less than stellar, leading to his trade. Originally set to spend this past season learning under Aaron Rodgers, Wilson was thrust back into the starting role after the longtime Packers star and Wilson’s idol tore his Achilles just four plays into the season.

As Wilson stepped back into the starting role, the Jets recorded a 4-7 performance in his 11 starts. During that season, Wilson threw for 2,271 yards, with eight touchdowns and seven interceptions, ending his Jets career with a total of 6,293 yards, 23 touchdowns, and 25 interceptions.

With his move to Denver, Wilson now looks to revitalize his career under the guidance of Sean Payton. He will be competing with Jarrett Stidham and first-round pick Bo Nix for the Broncos’ starting quarterback role.

Wilson’s engagement to Dellanno marks a new chapter both in his personal and professional life, promising new beginnings and opportunities for growth.
