Zahara Jolie-Pitt Walks with Sorority Sisters at Spelman College
Zahara Marley Jolie, daughter of actors Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, is fully embracing her HBCU experience at Spelman College. The young student joined Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. in November 2023. Most recently, she was recorded by her fellow students strolling with her line sisters in footage that has since gone viral.
In clips uploaded to TikTok, the 19-year-old is seen rocking a green top and denim shorts as she hits the crew’s signature moves with her sorors. The group strolled to the song “Back Outside” by Anycia and Latto. Check out the clip below.
Upon joining the sorority last year, Essence shared video of the probate ceremony, where the sophomore introduced herself as a member of the “Sweet” Mu Pi Chapter.
“My name is Zahara Marley Jolie. And [I] landed all the way from the Golden State in the city full of angels: Los Angeles, California,” she stated as the crowd roared. “I am this line’s number seven.”
Zahara enrolled at Spelman in the fall of 2022, with mom Angelina attending her daughter’s first homecoming with her, and sharing snaps from the trip to her own Instagram page.
“Congratulations to all new students starting this year. A very special place and an honor to have a family member as a new Spelman girl,” wrote the Maleficent actress on Instagram at the time.
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc, established at Howard University in 1908, has a number of noted members and alumni, including Loretta Devine, Wanda Sykes, Toni Morrison, countless honorary members, and Vice President Kamala Harris, who is currently running for President of the United States.
