33 demonstrators, including 6 GWU students, arrested at protest encampment

Six out of the 33 individuals arrested at a pro-Palestinian encampment at George Washington University are current students at the school, as confirmed by a university spokesman. All 33 individuals were arrested for unlawful entry or assaulting police, and were given criminal citations before being released. They will need to appear in court at a later date for the misdemeanor charges they face. Despite the arrests, the individuals did not go through a formal booking process.
