Authorities in Charlotte, North Carolina, reported four officers killed in a shooting while serving a warrant at a home. Eight officers were shot, with three members of the US Marshals task force killed. Two of the officers killed were 14-year veterans of the state’s Department of Adult Correction. Four Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officers were also shot, with one in critical condition who later died. Two people of interest are being questioned.
