5 dead in Oklahoma murder-suicide, including 10-year-old boy who discovered family slain

A 10-year-old boy in Oklahoma City woke up on Monday to find his entire family massacred in their home. The boy’s father, Jonathon Candy, had fatally shot his wife, Lindsay, and three of their sons before turning the gun on himself. The boy called the police to report the gruesome scene he discovered. Investigators are unsure why the boy’s life was spared. The victims were identified as Dylan (18), Ethan (14), Lucas (12), Lindsay (39), and Jonathon (42) Candy. There were no previous police calls or history of domestic abuse in the family. Police are still trying to determine the motive behind the violent tragedy.
