Alaska officials report Douglas DC-4 plane crash in the region

A Douglas DC-4 plane crashed in Fairbanks, Alaska shortly after takeoff, carrying two people. The crash occurred about seven miles south of Fairbanks International Airport, where the plane slid into a hill near the Tatana River and caught fire. No survivors have been found yet.
