Albion woman tragically dies in multi-vehicle accident on I-95 in Wells

Maine State Police reported that a woman from Albion was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on I-95 in Wells. The crash involved a Toyota Prius driven by a 23-year-old from Massachusetts, a minivan, and a pickup truck. The truck rolled over, resulting in the death of the driver, Gloria Cascio. Another passenger was seriously injured and airlifted to Maine Medical Center. The driver of the Prius sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the minivan and a gray Chevy Impala were not seriously injured. The investigation is ongoing, and the section of the turnpike was closed for four hours before reopening.
