Amal Clooney Shows Strong Bond with Brad Pitt in Rare Interview

George Clooney and Brad Pitt share a well-documented friendship that spans decades, but glimpses into Pitt’s rapport with Clooney’s wife, Amal, are rare. Recently, Pitt, 60, and Clooney, 63, were both featured in a GQ cover story promoting their upcoming action film Wolfs. During the interview and photoshoot, Amal, 46, made an appearance, highlighting the strong bond she shares not only with her husband but also with Pitt, the Bullet Train star.

Amal’s arrival, accompanied by the couple’s twins Ella and Alexander, brought a brief but delightful interruption to the session. According to the article, Amal greeted Pitt with a warm hug and complimented him on his lavish Château Miraval estate, the French winery that has been the center of a long-running legal dispute with his ex-wife, Angelina Jolie. The estate served as the backdrop for the interview.

During lunch, Amal joined the two actors. In a lighthearted exchange, Pitt filled her in on George’s fashion choices for the photoshoot. “Your man was venturing out,” Pitt teased.

“What did you do? Are you wearing a radical color?” Amal quipped to Clooney.

“I’m too old to care,” Clooney replied.

Pitt chimed in, adding, “That’s another thing about getting older. It’s too much work to control things. It’s better to just slot in some way to the current.”

George and Amal Clooney married in 2014, and the couple has largely kept their private lives away from public scrutiny. In recent years, Brad Pitt has been romantically involved with Swiss jewelry designer Ines de Ramon, a relationship that began in 2022.

In April, speculation arose about Amal’s feelings toward Pitt’s new relationship. Sources suggested that Amal wasn’t entirely supportive of Pitt’s romance with de Ramon, who was previously married to actor Paul Wesley. “She thinks Ines doesn’t really work that hard in the jewelry business and tries to be someone that she’s not,” claimed an insider.
