SDCC is held annually at the San Diego Convention Center and is a much-anticipated event for many fans. This year’s event will take place from July 25 to 28, marking the first full-scale event since 2019, following pandemic disruptions and schedule changes caused by strikes.

On Friday, July 26, from 1:45 – 2:45 p.m. PDT, The Walking Dead: Dead City will hold its panel in Hall H with Chris Hardwick as the moderator. Confirmed panel attendees include showrunner Eli Jorné, TWD CCO Scott M. Gimple, Lauren Cohan (Maggie), Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Negan), Gaius Charles (Perlie Armstrong), and Željko Ivanek (The Croat).

Following that, from 2:45 – 3:45 p.m. PDT, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon will feature its panel in Hall H, also moderated by Chris Hardwick. The panel will include showrunner David Zabel, TWD CCO Scott M. Gimple, director and executive producer Greg Nicotero, Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon), Melissa McBride (Carol Peletier), and Louis Puech Scigliuzzi (Laurent).

Another thrilling announcement within The Walking Dead universe is the partnership between AMC and What’s Your Passion. This collaboration will unveil four exclusive SDCC jewelry pieces that are sure to delight any franchise fan. What’s Your Passion (Booth #1021) is a frequent presence at SDCC, known for their high-quality jewelry, pins, and more. This year’s offerings include Care Bears, Neopets, Dragon Prince, The Walking Dead, and more. Additionally, WYP has designed an exclusive SDCC 2024 Bubble Necklace, limited to 100 pieces.

Check out the exclusive TWD designs, which feature Michonne’s katana, Negan’s Lucille, a beautiful floral piece (Look at the flowers), and what seems to be a modified version of the CRM’s logo.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book of Carol is set to premiere on AMC and AMC+ on September 29. The series has already been renewed for a third and potentially a fourth season.

The Walking Dead: Dead City season 2 recently concluded filming and is expected to be released in 2025.
