Anoka-Hennepin school officials declare end to budget stalemate

After a long six-hour work session, board members reached an agreement to remove the obstacles holding up the passage of the 2024-25 budget. The threat of a shutdown is now over, allowing the board to continue planning for the next year. However, the district is still facing financial challenges with a deficit and plans to make $25 million in cuts over the next two years.
