Anti-Israel demonstrations persist on college campuses throughout the United States.

The University of Texas at Austin has placed the Palestine Solidarity Committee on “interim suspension” due to an alleged violation of institutional rules. The group organized an event met with a large police presence and posted a statement on Instagram calling the suspension an attack on free speech. CNN is seeking clarity on the suspension’s implications, as the PSC planned a vigil. The university defended bringing in law enforcement to stop the event and warned the group of disciplinary action. UT Austin’s president explained the decision was based on credible indications of disruption, and noted that many of those arrested had no affiliation with the university.
