Approximately 100 individuals detained following pro-Palestinian protest at Northeastern University

About 100 people were detained from a pro-Palestinian protest at Northeastern University, where the university’s police along with local law enforcement cleared an encampment early in the morning. The university stated that professional organizers infiltrated the student demonstration, leading to the use of anti-Semitic slurs. The university stated that students with valid IDs were released, but others face disciplinary proceedings. Encampments were also dismantled and protesters arrested at other colleges like Arizona State University and Indiana University.
