A teenager is in police custody for first-degree murder after a high school senior was shot dead at a party following prom in Helena-West Helena, Arkansas. Donterious Stephens, 19, was arrested hours after Lorenzo Harrison III, 18, was fatally shot. Stephens will also face charges for possession of firearms. The shooting occurred at an off-campus party attended by Central High School students. The Helena-West Helena School District mourned the loss and offered counseling to the school community. The suspect will be taken to the Arkansas State Crime lab for an autopsy as investigations continue.
