A 4-year-old girl and her 2-year-old brother tragically died after being swept away in Mill Creek in San Bernardino County. The mother was attending to her son when her daughter was taken downstream. Despite searching, the mother couldn’t find her daughter, and when she returned, her son was missing too. After contacting help and a difficult search, both children were found near the river’s edge. The girl was taken to Redlands Community Hospital and the boy was airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center, where they were both pronounced dead. The incident is still under investigation.
