Authorities: Suspect in double homicide may have been seen in Portland

Elias Huizar, wanted for murder and kidnapping in eastern Washington, may have been spotted at a Plaid Pantry in north Portland driving a black sedan. The search for Huizar was prompted by a tip received by West Richland police. Toronto police have been alerted by Portland police about the potential sighting. Huizar is believed to have killed his ex-wife and another victim. He is suspected of kidnapping a 1-year-old and may be heading to Mexico. Huizar, a former cop, was scheduled to appear in court on rape charges. He is described as armed and dangerous.
