Autopsy confirms Suzanne Morphew, missing mother last seen on bike ride, was killed in a homicide

In a statement released by the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, Suzanne Morphew, the Colorado mom who went missing in May 2020, was found to have died by homicide as per an autopsy report. The cause of death was determined to be a result of intoxication with specific drugs used as a chemical immobilizer for wildlife. No signs of trauma were found on her body. Her husband, Barry Morphew, was initially charged with her murder in 2021 but the charges were dropped in April 2022. Her remains were found in September 2023 in an unrelated case investigation. The Morphew family expressed grief over the loss and lack of justice.
