Autopsy reveals Suzanne Morphew was murdered in Colorado

Suzanne Morphew, who went missing in 2020 and was found deceased in September 2023, died from undetermined causes due to intoxication with butorphanol, azaperone, and medetomidine. These drugs are used for pain relief, sedation, and immobilization. The autopsy found no signs of trauma on her body. Despite receiving chemotherapy for lymphoma, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation ruled her death as a homicide. Her husband, Barry Morphew, initially faced murder charges but they were dismissed in 2022. Investigations into alleged misconduct by prosecutors continue. Her remains were found after a years-long search.
