Ben Affleck Spotted with RFK Jr’s Daughter Kick Kennedy After JLo’s Divorce Filing

Ben Affleck has been keeping busy since his wife, Jennifer Lopez, filed for divorce earlier this week.

The 52-year-old actor was recently seen spending time with Kick Kennedy, the 36-year-old daughter of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Following the divorce filing, they were spotted together at the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

Details about their connection remain unclear, leaving the nature of their relationship open to speculation. However, it seems that Ben is attempting to move forward amidst the separation.

Kick Kennedy, who is the great-niece of President John F. Kennedy, is one of the six children of RFK Jr. Earlier this week, her father withdrew from the presidential race and offered his endorsement to Republican candidate Donald Trump.

The couple’s marital troubles were confirmed as Jennifer cited their date of separation as April 26. She listed irreconcilable differences as the primary reason for their decision to part ways.

Ben and Jennifer maintained contrasting lifestyles; she enjoys living in front of the cameras, while he prefers a more private existence. This fundamental incompatibility ultimately contributed to the collapse of their marriage. An insider shared with Us Weekly, “It was more and more apparent they weren’t a good match.”

Despite their efforts to attend therapy and make their relationship work, the differences between them proved too vast to bridge. “It boiled down to [the fact that] they are two different people,” the source noted. They eventually reached an agreement to separate after realizing they were not on the same page.

“[Jennifer] came to the realization that things weren’t going to change and they were incompatible,” the insider revealed. “Spending time apart — it became obvious it wouldn’t work.”

These inherent differences were at the core of the struggles that plagued their relationship, leading to its disintegration.

One source explained, “Jennifer loves luxury, mansions, jets, yachts, red carpets, and all things glamorous. Ben has never liked those things.” Unlike Jennifer, Ben typically avoids the spotlight unless he has professional obligations to fulfill.

The couple’s purchase of an extravagant $68 million mansion last year, which they subsequently placed on the market this year, seemed to be a significant contributing factor to their marital troubles. “If there was one final straw, it was Jennifer convincing Ben to buy that massive mansion,” the insider said. “It wasn’t what he wanted or who he is.”

This marks the second time the couple has decided to end their relationship. They initially began dating and got engaged in 2002 after meeting on the set of their film, Gigli, only to split for the first time in 2004.
